Partnering with the American Heart Association to Bring CPR Training Kits to Local Schools
08/28/2025
As part of this initiative, we are donating three CPR training kits to local school districts!
The first to receive their CPR Kit was VVS Central School District.
These kits are more than just tools—they are opportunities. With them, students and staff will be able to learn hands-on CPR, practice with inflatable CPR dummies, and familiarize themselves with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Each kit also includes flash drives with training videos, a playlist of songs set to the correct beats per minute for CPR, and additional resources that make learning both engaging and effective.
Why is this important?
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people suffer cardiac arrests outside of hospitals. Immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival. By equipping our local schools with the right training tools, we’re empowering the next generation - and their teachers - with the knowledge and confidence to act quickly in an emergency.
This initiative reflects not only our partnership with the American Heart Association, but also our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact where we live and work. We’re proud to support our schools in creating safer environments and building a community that is prepared to save lives.
At GPO, we know that real change happens when we come together. We’re grateful to our team and our members for making programs like this possible.
Together, we can help build a stronger, healthier, and safer community.
