MY CARD HASN’T EXPIRED; WHY IS IT BEING REPLACED?
We continuously look to improve our technology and security processes to serve our members better. This card update is part of an improved chip card process. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience it may cause.
WILL MY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD BE SHUT OFF?
All old debit cards will be blocked on October 21, 2020 and old credit cards will be blocked on November 4, 2020. Please activate your new debit and credit cards as soon as you receive them. If you have any automatic direct debits or recurring payments attached to your current card, please remember to update your card information anywhere it is stored (Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, etc.).
HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE NEW CARD?
Call 800-466-0040 to activate your card or use your new card with your new PIN at an ATM.
WHAT IF I RECEIVED MULTIPLE CARDS?
You can verify your new card and the account associated with the new card on any of GPO’s online banking platforms under REMOTE CARD CONTROLS. You can also deactivate any additional cards you received in REMOTE CARD CONTROLS.
WHAT IS MY NEW PIN?
If you haven’t already, your new PIN will be in the mail. For those with multiple cards, the new PIN envelope will have the last four digits of the new associated card number enclosed. The new PIN can be changed by using any GPO ATM or by calling the number within the PIN envelope with the PIN change code.
