Apply for a GPO member scholarship!

GPO is awarding three GPO members scholarships of $1,500, $1,000, and $500. In addition, applicants for GPO's scholarships are automatically eligible for NYCUA's statewide scholarships, which include awards of up to $1,250. Students will also be considered for scholarships through the Utica-Rome Chapter of Credit Unions, with additional awards available totaling up to $1,750.

GPO's 2026-2027 Scholarship Opportunities will be available in Fall of 2026. Please stay tuned for more information!

GPO scholarships are open to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a 2–4 year accredited college or university, or an accredited trade or vocational school. Applicants must be members of GPO and in good standing at the time of application.

To apply this Fall, you will need the following:

  • GPO’s Scholarship Application (Available to download in Fall 2026 )
  • The Certification and Release Authorization signed by you and a parent/guardian
  • Your high school transcript documenting your GPA for grades 9 through 11
  • A typed essay
