GPO's Scholarship Opportunities

GPO Federal Credit Union members have the opportunity to apply for GPO's scholarship program and automatically be entered in the New York Credit Union Association scholarship program.

GPO's scholarship program winners will be awarded a $1,500, $1,000 or $500 scholarship. The New York Credit Union Association's awards range from $250 to $1,500. Both programs will be paid jointly to the student and the educational institution.

*The deadline to apply for the 2022-2023 scholarships has expired.

How to Apply

Download and complete the Scholarship Application Form (PDF).

Applicants should type or print clearly in the space provided on the form to answer the questions. 

You and your parent or guardian must sign the Certification and Release Authorization on the back page of the application.

You will need your high school transcript documenting your GPA for grades 9 through 11 and a typed essay response to apply.

How to Submit

Once your application, transcript and essay are ready to submit, you can submit one of two ways:

Email all requested documentation to [email protected] 

Drop off all requested documentation to any GPO branch.
